破滅の刻リリースに際して行われた、オラクルの変更点まとめ。 総合ルールの変更はArchenemy: Nicol Bolasのリリース時にも行われていたが、Oracleがいつ変更されたかは知らない。
以下訳文。
《宿命/Kismet》 (機能的変更)
一時期、《宿命/Kismet》と《凍りつく霊気/Frozen Aether》のオラクル上のテキストはまったく同じだった。 ミラディンの傷跡の時期に、《宿命/Kismet》に印刷されているテキストと実際の挙動とが僅かに異なることに、誰かが気づいた。 これにより、《宿命/Kismet》のオラクル・テキストは変更されることになった。 つまり、生成されたトークンや直接戦場に出たものはタップされなくなり、プレイされたものだけがタップされるようになったのだ。
しかし、その変更が行われてから今日に至るまで、殆どのプレイヤーは《宿命/Kismet》を《凍りつく霊気/Frozen Aether》と同じテキストを持つカードとしてプレイしていた。 更に事態を複雑にするものとして、印刷された《宿命/Kismet》のうちいくつかは、「各対戦相手」でなく「対象の対戦相手」に作用するように書いてあるという問題もある。 これら問題の解決法を探した結果、最良の解決策は《宿命/Kismet》のテキストを《凍りつく霊気/Frozen Aether》と同じものに戻すということだと、我々は判断した。 最も多くのプレイヤーが《宿命/Kismet》を正しくプレイできるようになるのが、この解決法なのである。

《メレティスのダクソス/Daxos of Meletis》 (非機能的変更)
さっきまでは真新しいゴンティのテキストについて議論してきたが、《メレティスのダクソス/Daxos of Meletis》と《精神的な介入/Psychic Intrusion》も浮上してきた。 色と関係なくマナを支払って唱えられるようになったカードを指して「that spell」と書いてあるカードもあれば、もっと曖昧だが非常に短い形で「it」と読んでいるカードもあった。 我々はより明確な形である「that spell」をより良い標準であると定め、それに沿って《メレティスのダクソス/Daxos of Meletis》を直すことにした。

《力説/Insist》 (非機能的変更)

《戦場のたかり屋/Battlefield Scrounger》 (非機能的変更)
アモンケットでオラクルを更新したとき《陰謀団の尋問者/Cabal Inquisitor》にあった不明瞭なコンマを切除した。その時《戦場のたかり屋/Battlefield Scrounger》は仕事で外出していて、その場にいなかった。戦場でたかっていたのだ。 たかってきた戦利品でいっぱいになったカバンを持って家に帰ってきたとき、我々が感謝と祝福の意味を込めた「おかえりなさいパーティー」を開いてくれるんじゃないかと、彼は期待していたんじゃないだろうか。 しかし、我々はパーティーを開くどころか彼のコンマを奪い去り、あまつさえこの記事に隠してしまった。 ああ、今回の更新通知は悲しい記事とともにお別れだ。
